Sean Patton – “Tangents”

Such a fun interview right out the gate as Sean Patton, NYC comedian shares advice on industry including why comics don’t talk to you. What happens after you get a big break (hint: nothing) comparing Houston and New Orleans scenes, LA and New York scenes, and reminds us to ALWAYS RECORD AND LISTEN TO ALL YOUR SETS.

Sean has a great anaology to look at the distinction between just being funny and killing on stage. He suggests you should be okay with falling on stage, leaving potholes for yourself and digging out allowing organic comedy to happen by exploring tangents. Never kill your babies… If you have an idea you find funny you probably just need to find the right way to communicate it on stage. And so much more!
